Out with the Old, In with the New

Transpersonal Muse lures us with reminders that we are beyond what we imagine ourselves to be. How exciting is this!?

We channel our creative imagination to exchange messy old habits for magically aligned guidance. The dark tunnel crumbles and the light at the end fills up the entire joint. It's like going with a fall instead of resisting it = successful (injury free) landing.

The Magic:

Magic is in the state of presence. For me, this is when I feel into the qualities of life that I want (spaciousness and freedom). I am influenced by and find validation in who I am becoming! My encounters, clients, family, conversations, projects- all sychronize to reflect and validate my focus on these qualities.

For example, the other week I woke with the intention of doing an inner journey meditation. Before I began I flashed on wanting someone to hire me to do this for them. After going about my meditation practice of being present and receptive, I received a phone call from a lady interested in hiring me to guide her exploration of inner journey work- It was exactly what I flashed on wanting that morning!

The Mess (Hint: It's also the Magic):

When I feel constriction or constrain, I'm in a state of my past. I am influenced by and find validation in memories of who I used to be. And how exciting this state can be! It is magic in that it's the gold mine for recognizing where I hold onto conditions that no longer serve who I am becoming.

The other day I wanted to escape the everyday responsibilities of raising small children to just be alone but that wasn't possible. I felt constricted by memories of a time I could do as I pleased. Instead I submitted to the imagination, pretending I was my son's playdate (lol). He was knee deep in art materials making people out of everyday objects. A pen became "Penny", a cup "Cuppy", and so on. He built them a house out of cardboard. I got swept into the motivation of this project, freeing my role as mom and feeling into the spaciousness of the creative flow.

Free Tips and Musings

The coolest thing about any and all of this "out with the old, in with the new" is that NO ONE else gets to determine who you get to be except for YOU. This is your dream that you get to live... everyone else's opinions, all your interactions, your health and environment, the world around you- all of it, is either guiding you into qualities of expansion OR revealing to you where you're feeling conditioned to limit this expansion.

In times of resistance you can use your imagination to realize your power:

  • Where in your life do you allow others to control your expansion?

  • Navigate these areas of control by focusing on your desire... where do you want to feel expansive? Who can support this? What topics of conversation take you there? Which images, movies, music, venues give you space to expand?

  • Supporting your expansion is like seeing a cohesive image appear within a scribble drawing. Looks like a mess until you perceive something of substance within it. Try it out... Make a quick, large scribble on a piece of paper and then sit with it until an image appears and you can fill it in.

When [man] demands the Divine Design to come into his conscious mind, he will receive flashes of inspiration, and begin to see himself making some great accomplishment. This is the picture, or idea, he must hold without wavering... the thing man seeks is seeking him - the telephone was seeking the Bell! - Florence Scovel Shinn

Affirmation: "I am fully equipt for the divine plan of my life"
